About These Effects
- Focus Lines (集中線) — the classic manga "impact" lines radiating from a center point, for dramatic moments.
- Screentone — halftone dot shading used in manga printing, for retro comic-panel texture.
- Sparkle — scattered light sparkles for a magical or glamorous highlight.
- Light Rays — soft god-rays / light-shaft overlay for a cinematic glow.
- Magic Circle — an ornate glowing circle overlay for fantasy or spell-effect scenes.

How It Works
Each overlay is a high-resolution transparent PNG. Your browser blends it onto your photo using canvas compositing — multiply for dark overlays (focus lines, screentone) and screen for light overlays (sparkle, light rays, magic circle) — the same blend modes used in Photoshop/Clip Studio Paint. Adjust the intensity slider to control overlay strength. No image data ever leaves your computer.
